After being a maintenance client of ours for several years, The Equipment Hub finally decided to upgrade to a more attractive, organized and mobile-friendly site. This website build was one of my most complex e-commerce builds yet, pushing my knowledge of Woocommerce and Beaver Builder page builder to create a site that seems almost completely custom. With a vast range of a product catalog (almost 4,000), we had to create a simple yet powerful search functionality into the homepage and product archive.
One of the biggest feats (though you wouldn’t be able to tell from the look of it) is the easy to edit backend of the site. The client updates their product catalog very frequently and needed a website that they could edit on their own, adding, removing and editing products and information. Through many conditional fields and custom page building, the seamless process for the client makes it a great site for everyone, owner and user.
This e-commerce experience has helped me in other projects and given me a better understanding on pushing the limits of a WordPress plugin.
